Arthur Azevedo
Sculptor
Azevedo originally trained and worked as a teacher until his retirement when he was able to work full-time as an artist. Since then, he has taught, painted and sculpted and is now rightly considered to be the elder statesman and leading light in the Harare art world. He is attributed with founding the metal sculpture movement in Zimbabwe. See examples of his work on https://fillingdon.com/gallery-category/paintings/arthur-azevedo/
