Suraiya Essof

Suraiya Essof was born in Kwekwe in 1979. She is trained in industrial psychology and education, and is a small business owner and a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) consultant. Her passion lies in community upliftment. She has lived with type 1 diabetes for 30 years, which has greatly influenced her perspective on life. She is the founder of Kites for Peace Zimbabwe, which is a recreational movement for social change, and co-founder of a charity network called the Zimbabwe Cares Network. She lives in Harare with her husband and two sons.
